COLLEGE PRINCIPAL NOW THREATENS STUDENTS

“We were threatened by the principal to say on the electronic media yesterday(18th September ) that Luiza was wrong and he was right ” allege a group of students of K.K.V Junior College ,Bhandup.The group contacted the Asian Age correspondent to express their sincerity with Luiza and helplessness at the hands of principal but did not want to reveal their names.
The Asian Age broke the story (on 18th September –Wednesday) of Luiza Lobo(18) F.Y.J.C student, K.K.V Junior College,Bhandup assaulted by college principal, A.B Mule allegedly for wearing jeans to the college.On 3rd September,Luiza was beaten badly on her hands by the principal with dandia sticks. When contacted the principal admitted to the correspondent of hitting Luiza with a stick for wearing jeans and felt that there was nothing wrong in doing so.At present Luiza is terribly upset and traumatized by this assault that she has stopped going to the college since that day.
Luiza told The Asian Age, “They are my sincere friends and outside college they said that they will definitely support me throughout till the day I get justice.But it is due to their unaffordable conditions and fear of getting sacked by the principal that led them to say everything against me.But the facts are facts .They will not change anyhow even if tomorrow the whole college stands against me.”
Evavelil,Luiza’s sister also had to bear the ill beahavoiur from him as she told,“When I went to the principal to solve the issue amicably after he had beaten my sister, he threatened saying ‘If you go ahead in police with this matter,you will have to bear unpleasant consequences.And also a big red mark on Luiza’s leaving certificate will restrict her admission to any college of the city.’Further he stated in a highly sarcastic tone that if my sister was so fond of jeans ,tell her to join night college.That means he is not stringent on his own rules.If he cannot allow jeans at day then why at night?I was shocked to hear all this.”
Luiza further alleged that yesterday evening some of these students confided in her that the principal had forcibly taken signatures against me. She has already launched several complaints in Bhandup police station.
Another college student on condition of anonymity said, “Our principal is very strict and highly abusive at times. Every morning we go to college with fear of what will happen today.We have no other option but to stay quiet and obey him.I hope he learns a lesson from Luiza’s case and tries to change himself.”
PSI S.Lombte,Bhandup Police station said, “We have full support and co-operation for the girl.If at all she is scared to go alone to take leaving certificate from the principal ,some official can accompany and help her.But before that she has to complete all the formalities as per the college authorities.”
A.B Mule ,college principal was not available for comments despite repeated calls.
