EYE TIPS FOR BOLLYWOOD STARS
Do not put drops in your eyes because your eyes became red .Some eye-drops on the sets may not be meant for you.
Don’t put drops with contact lenses on.
Wash off Glycerine from your eyes with clean water, not necessarily with well water.
Do not use semi-soft lens solution with Soft Lenses because you ran out of solution.
Do not use and abuse Steroid Eye drops eg. Pyrimon eye drops.
Working on the sets with Halogen light will not spoil your eyes, but try not to stare at it.
It is normal for 70% of individuals to have a glasses number
LASIK Laser is safe but not everyone is a good candidate.
Have a regular Eye Test from an Eye Doctor.
Another commonly prevailing eye problem ‘Computer Vision Syndrome’ is developed due to long working hours on the computers. Dr.Mehta states “Working on Computers results in eye fatigue, eye strain, redness, watering of eyes, blurring of vision and an occasional headache called Computer Vision Syndrome or CVS.Hence while working on computer, one should wear correct glasses, sit at a comfortable distance and blink consciously a few times more.”
“People usually take their eye care for granted and consult an eye specialist only when serious eye problem occurs.Factors like age, weather and harmonal changes affect our eyes to a great extent;thus the constant care and check-up of eyes is vital.” concludes Dr.Mehta
